Allie has been passionate about dance since the age of 5. She began her training in the Sacramento area where she studied Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance. She then continued her education at Santa Clara University, where she added Modern dance to her studies. Allie was extremely involved in dance throughout her four years of college. She performed in all major University dance productions and was a peer educator in Modern technique class. She also received the honor of having her choreography showcased in a faculty dance concert. In addition to her dance studies, Allie earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Allie began teaching children’s dance classes in college, and has since become extremely passionate about the impact arts education can have on young people. Following graduation, Allie spent 3 months living in rural India, where she taught dance classes at a school for underprivileged youth. Allie’s ultimate goal is to become a doctor, but she is sure dance will always remain an important part of her life.
