Addison
Addison is 10 years old and in the sixth grade. She loves ballet and has been dancing
since she was three. She loves dancing at NCDC and has learned so much. She especially
enjoyed performing on the Carnival cruise that the Ambassadors took in May.
Addison also enjoyed dancing in A Midnight Summer's Dream at the Mondavi Center in
June. She has performed twice in AVA Ballet's production of The Nutcracker at the Pioneer
Center in Reno. She has also danced with Placer Theatre Ballet in the Nutcracker
and Snow White. She also enjoys piano, reading and playing with her two cats. |

Andrew
I have only been dancing for one year and it's amazing how much more flexible I have
become in such a short time. I can now do second position splits and my goal is to be
able to do front leg splits. I am also striving for more turnout in my legs, especially during
jumps. I enjoy dancing because I feel so free and I find it fun moving my body in so
many different ways. In the future I would like to dance with a great company and afterwards,
teach ballet. |

Brenna
I have been dancing for 2 years. I have been able to perform in the Nutcracker as a
mouse. I am excited to be on the Ambassadors. I especially love tap dancing and I am
looking forward to learning more ballet. I like to snow ski in the winter and wakeboard in
the summer. |

Claire
I love my ballet and modern classes! I think ballet is so beautiful and graceful and modern
is fun because the movements help you 'let loose'. I have been in the Sacramento
Ballet's Nutcracker for three years now and that is what got me interested in dance.
Someday, I hope to dance many roles in the Nutcracker and all of the famous ballets. |

Grace
I am 10 years old and this is my 4th year dancing at NCDC. I love to dance, and classical
ballet is my favorite. I love ballet because it is such a beautiful style of dance. Ballet
makes me feel happy, excited, beautiful and free. I'm really looking forward to dancing
en Pointe in the future. I also train in modern and am having lots of fun learning tap for
the first time this year. In the past, I've taken hip hop and jazz. When I grow up, I'd like to
dance with a professional ballet company. Besides performances at NCDC, I've enjoyed
performing with Placer Theatre Ballet for two seasons of The Nutcracker and Snow
White. |

Jocelyn
This is my seventh year of dancing. I love dancing, but my favorite genres are ballet and
modern. I love to perform and I have been able to perform in the Nutcracker for three
years and in the Double Feature at the Mondavi Center where I got to be Toto in the
Wizard of Oz. I can't wait to perform in the Double Feature again this year. I love every
minute of dance and look forward to going to class all the time to learn new combinations
and dances. In my spare time I also like to snowboard and wakeboard. |

I am 9 years old and in the fourth grade. I have been dancing since I started tap and
ballet at age 3. I have performed in the Sacramento Ballet’s Nutcracker for four years
(“Baby Mouse,” two years as one of Mother Ginger’s children, and this year, Party Girl,
“Baby Blue”). When I am not dancing, I am often singing and dancing in musicals in the
area. Roles have included Marta in The Sound of Music at Sacramento Music Circus;
Fagin’s Gang in Oliver at Magic Circle Theatre; Cutter, a dwarf, in Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs and Ellie Ellis in Holiday in the Hills at Stage Nine Theatre; and July in
Annie Jr. and Susan Waverly in White Christmas at River City Theatre Company. |

Natalie
I am 10 years old and in the 5th grade. I've been dancing since I was three and have
adored it ever since. In my free time, I enjoy soccer, skiing, choreographing my own
dances, shopping, and texting. This is my third year as an Ambassador. To me NCDC
is a dream. I get training from some of the best dancers around, and I get to be myself
when I dance. I feel so free when I dance that sometimes I become distracted and
dream about the euphoric feeling and emotion that I embrace when I perform. Someday,
I hope to go to the Julliard School of Performing Arts and to later follow Ms. Jen's footsteps
in dance. Dancing at NCDC has been such an opportunity which I pleadingly don't
want to end. Dance has always been my passion, and with the help of NCDC, it always
can be. |

Rylee
I'm Rylee and I have been dancing for 5 years and this is my 3rd year at NCDC. My favorite
type of dance is modern. I also enjoy ballet. One of my goals in dance is to go en
pointe. I love to choreograph dances. I hope dance will always be a part of my life. |

Yarelis
I'm 10 years old and I love to dance. I have been dancing since I was three years old,
and my first performance was a jazz dance called Stray Cats at Sierra Dance Academy.
I took tap and ballet at Off Broadway Dance & 3 years of classical ballet at Deane
Dance Center, then I joined NCDC as a Mini Ambassador and am now a Junior Ambassador.
I also sing at our church choir and with my school choir. My favorite color is pink,
and I love to listen to Jonas Brothers, they are soooo cute!! My favorite type of dance is
tap, but I also like ballet and modern. On my free time I like to stretch and practice some
of my dances, play with my dog Bruno, and having fun with my friends. " |
