Kelly Archer Faculty & Staff
Kelly Archer Kelly received her early dance and theater training in Los Angeles and then after her family relocated to Sacramento continued her training
under Keith Goings. During high school, she was a member of Metro Dance Ensemble and performed locally as both a dancer and actress
in roles including Zaneeta in Music Man at Music Circus. After high school, she continued her training at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, as a recipient of their prestigious year long scholarship program, and then at the University of Northern Colorado. While at UNC, she had the privilege of choreographing for the college’s traveling
dance company, University dance shows, and having her choreography selected for dance festivals. She graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in directing and a minor in dance.
Kelly has had the privilege of dancing professionally throughout California and Colorado with choreographers such as Alex Magno, Billy Goodson, and Judy Baffa-Brill. Since returning to Sacramento, she has pursued her love and passion for the performing arts in her role as Programming Director at Oak Hills Church, and as Associate Artistic Director for iMPACT Contemporary Dance Company. She brings to the table fourteen years of experience teaching and choreographing jazz, lyrical, and contemporary dance. She is also very excited these days about serving as founding and artistic director of Imprint
Theatre Company.
