Leah Holly trained primarily with Maria Vegh at her private facility The Maria Vegh Ballet Centre. Through Ms. Vegh Leah gained experience from instructors and choreographers such as: David Howard, Alaine Haubert, and Charles Maple. While training she attended summer programs at: San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Boston Ballet, and won a first place trophy at the first Youth American Grande Prix. As a professional dancer Leah danced with the Sacramento Ballet, and Inland Pacific Ballet. She has danced many classical and contemporary works during her career and notes her work with Patricia Neary and Arturo Fernandez as some of the most memorable. Since retiring Leah has taught throughout Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Sacramento. She is very happy to be joining the faculty of N.C.D.C this year in order to continue to share her love and knowledge of dance with her students.
