Ashlyn
I am eight years old. Since I was able to stand, I have always walked on my tip toes,
and I still do. People would tell my parents, "that girl was born to dance." My Dad enrolled
me in dance at NCDC when I was five years old. I enjoy ballet, hip hop, and gymnastics,
and I LOVE TAP. I especially enjoy dancing and performing as a NCDC Mini
Ambassador. I learn and improve every year. Just you wait and watch what I can do!!!! |

Clara
Clara loves to dance and has been doing so since she was 3 years old. This is her first
year at NCDC and has really enjoyed adding more ballet into her schedule. She has
always had a passion for hip hop and jazz. She loves to listen to music and play with her
friends when she isn't at school or the dance studio. |

Isabelle
I am 9 years old and in 4th grade. This is my second year of dancing at NCDC and I
have been dancing for over seven years. I have performed with the Sacramento Ballet
for the past four years in The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty and also for the Folsom
Lake Civic Ballet in several of their performances. When I am not dancing at NCDC, I
enjoy playing soccer, swimming and hanging out with my friends or chasing my dog,
Kona, or my rabbit, Thumper. |

Kaleigh
I am 10 years old and in 5th grade. This is my 1st year as a Mini Ambassador, but not
my 1st year of dancing. I have been dancing for 7 years. My favorite dancing styles are
ballet and tap. I also love to ride my horse Buddy, play my clarinet and piano. I have a
cat named Simba and dog named Brody. |

Kaylyn
Kaylyn is 9 years old and is in the fourth grade. Kaylyn's favorite style of dance is tap
and modern. She is starting her fourth year with NCDC, and loves every minute of it.
Kaylyn loves to perform, and hopes to be in many dance productions in the future. |

Lainey
Lainey is 8 years old and in the 4th grade. She has been dancing since the age of 6,
and tap is her favorite. She is so excited to perform as a "Cherub" in the Sacramento
Nutcracker this year for the first time. This is Lainey's second year as a Ambassador
at NCDC, and she looks forward to the upcoming performances. Her "favorite vacation
ever" was the Carnival Cruise to Catalina Island with NCDC last May, where she was
able to perform on the cruise ship with her fellow Ambassadors." |

Luke
I like dancing because I like moving my body in different ways. I really like to dance
onstage even though I get nervous. I also love the music. I want to be a famous dancer
someday and possibly teach ballet. |

Madelin
Madelin has been dancing for seven years and this is her first year at NCDC. She has
taken a variety of classes including ballet, jazz, hip-hop and she is excited to take modern
for the first time. In her spare time she loves to choreograph dances with her sisters
and friends. Her other interests include cheerleading and tumbling. Madelin's goals for
dance include learning many more styles and improving her technique to be the best
dancer she can be. |
